About Jill Collier

Based in rural Oxfordshire, I have always had a passion for animals. I am fortunate enough to live in the countryside where I have always been fascinated by the wide variety of wildlife around me. This interest has broadened into a love of wildlife from many countries.

I am a member of the Oxfordshire Craft Guild, The Wildlife Art Society International,  Craft Potters Association,  Church Lane Gallery, Banbury. 

Ceramic sculpture

My sculpture is made of stoneware clay, each piece is individually hand made then fired in a kiln, I then add glazes and oxides before a second firing.

Recent award

I have recently been awarded a Gold Citation at The Wildlife Art Society International 2018, at Nature In Art, Twigworth, Glos, for my sculpture "Baby Sea Turtles"  where I also received a Gold Citation in 2017 for my sculpture "Coral Reef,

I was the winner of People's choise at Leamington Spa sculpture exhibition, in July 2018.
